Rewarding Futures

Talent & Leadership Development (No1 Lead Role)

Type: Permanent
Location: M4 West
Ref No: J10478

This SME enterprise has demonstrated a consistently strong financial performance, and with an entrepreneurial leadership team they’re geared to continue to build momentum at pace, and achieve their mid-term aspiration to IPO.

Continuously reimagining their products and services will be key to their continued success, ensuring that they’re at the forefront of their market and creating the best customer experiences.  This can only be achieved by enhancing an organisational culture that promotes continued personal and professional development; helping colleagues to do what they love in new ways, and encouraging innovation inspired by a shared commitment to great work – and to each other.

You’ll be an authentic talent, learning and development specialist with a compelling career story of building and shaping modern, business aligned, blended learning strategies that have improved talent retention, increased management and leadership capability, and delivered robust succession.

Reporting to the HRD, and working with a small team of HR colleagues, you’ll design and embed the strategy for colleague development across the employee lifecycle; revolutionising induction practices, introducing career pathways, building a talent programme, and selecting supplier partners to co-create and deliver core and bespoke solutions for management and leadership cohorts.   This strategy will be underpinned by core organisational values, and continually evaluated through employee communication and engagement activities.

Whilst sector experience is not a pre-requisite, we’re looking for a specialist who can demonstrate their knowledge of using the latest digital solutions to create and enhance a blended learning proposition, underpinned by a core technical knowledge and expertise.  Ideally, the successful candidate will demonstrate experience of career success in an SME and corporate environment – perhaps within a niche consultancy, learning to deliver best-in-class strategies in fast paced environments to varying audiences – most certainly commercial (sorry, no public sector background considered here).  This is superb HR team; bright, collaborative, work at pace, and make it fun.

If this sounds like a fit for you, please can we ask in the first instance that you share with us a CV that reflects your experience, and highlights your current remuneration and availability.
