This is a rare opportunity to step into a newly created role within a recently formed OD team, as the Group HR Director embeds a People team that can deliver the strategic aims of the function, partnering the business through organisational transformation to achieve their commercial ambitions - UK and Internationally.
Whilst this is a broad OD Manager role that will see you contribute research, analysis and ideas to the development of the People function and strategies - to ensure that OD initiatives are integrated and aligned to support strategic aims – initially your expertise is primarily required within the CEO’s Business Improvement Programme Team. Working alongside six Exec’s, you will play a key role in steering the transformation plan and agenda, prioritising projects and change across the organisation and partnering leaders to ensure business readiness.
Going forward, you will focus on designing and delivering OD and change management strategies, processes and interventions that support the business ambition to become a ‘world class’ organisation – initiatives that foster high performance, and value learning, continuous improvement, and diversity. Identifying opportunities for performance improvement through diagnostic work; reviewing policy, procedures, technology to understand barriers, and conducting appropriate external research to formulate solutions.
Expertly navigating teams through change management, facilitating sessions will be a natural talent, increasing colleagues capability to collaborate as they move into a matrix structure. In partnership with Internal Communications, shaping an effective comms strategy to build employee engagement throughout the change cycle.
We are looking for an OD specialist who is likely to be moving from a blue chip/corporate environment – demonstrating a solid depth of theory with effective practical implementation - in equal measure. Evidencing experience of delivering organisational change and transformation in fast moving and lean environments, together with embedding successful, integrated cultural improvement activities.
Whilst our clients HQ is based in North London, their business operations span across the UK, Ireland and North America – therefore UK travel will be required, but you will manage your plans accordingly.
Interviews will take place in June. We look forward to hearing from you.
