Rewarding Futures

HR Director

Type: Permanent
Location: M4 Corridor
Ref No: J10432

Our client is a high-growth organisation operating within the financial services sector, and whilst their national brand is underpinned by a rich heritage, having recently achieved independence from their parent company, the entrepreneurial Executive team together with their shareholders embrace the opportunity to shape and drive their ambitious growth strategy with ingenuity.

Their multiple business streams have been developed both through M&A activity and innovative creation of products and services; an omnichannel strategy that provides their customers with an integrated experience, and consistent high quality advice within a highly regulated environment.  With a consistently strong financial performance across all channels and indicators, they are positioned to continue to build momentum and further enhance their services at pace.

As a new role in the Executive team, this is an opportune time to join the business and play an integral role in both cultural and organisational development, with full accountability for the HR Strategy.   Whilst the early stages of this journey have been communicated to colleagues, there is still much to do.  Key priorities will include; EVP development and alignment, embedding of a cultural engagement and communications programme, evolution of their organisational structure, and creation of strategic workforce planning to drive critical succession.  Total reward is complex, with a number of new incentive plans approved and in the process of implementation, therefore this area will require your continual oversight and regular engagement with RemCo.

We’re looking for an HR leader with an appetite to drive transformational change; seizing the best from their current cultural identity and organisational values and maturing this foundation to build an even brighter future for their colleagues.  As a trusted partner to the CEO, an inherent commercial acumen combined with intellectual agility will be evident, together with a strong ability to influence a broader entrepreneurial leadership cohort.  Whilst this is a complex business, it’s in a phase of maturing, and therefore an adeptness to move between a strategic and operational focus swiftly and frequently will be essential.  It’s an energising place to be for a strong collaborative leader and there is an exhilarating agenda ahead.

Please share your CV with us in the first instance and we will connect with you to discuss next steps.  On this occasion, please note that experience of working within Financial Services experience is a pre-requisite, and a career spanning across both Corporate and SME organisations would be of significant benefit.
