Warmed all year by the Gulf Stream, Jersey offers the warmest summers and the mildest winters in the British Isles, and it’s as close as it gets to enjoying a Mediterranean climate within an hour of the UK.

The island offers professionals an opportunity to connect easily within the business community, and a lifestyle opportunity outside of work to enjoy its beautiful coast – albeit relaxing in one of the many good restaurants or bars or participating in your favourite watersport – the choice is yours.

Our client is an international, rapidly growing corporate services business headquartered in Jersey with operations across 10+ jurisdictions.  Following recent M&A activity, they now move into a phase of organisational development and cultural integration.

Reporting to the Group HRD, this role offers an opportunity to Lead HR for their Jersey, UK and Ireland cohort (supported by 2 x HRBP’s), and as Global Head of HR Operations translate Group HR strategy to create a global framework of centralised policies, processes and activities aligned to both group and regional priorities.  You will lead a diagnostic review and develop a strategy to prioritise major projects and activities which will certainly include the selection and implementation of a cloud based HRIS in the next 12/18 months.  The current HR Ops team of 4 accountable for centralised; Resourcing, Employee Relations, HR Administration and HRIS.

Partnering with your two Regional HoHR peers and Global Centre of Expertise colleagues, you will contribute to the design and development of their talent process; ensuring key talent data is accurate and accessible, and supporting the talent management and development cycle through to critical succession planning.

This is a superb opportunity to be part of an inclusive, forward thinking HR team, focused on developing the organisational infrastructure to support their continuing organic growth and further M&A activity.

Ideally, we are looking for a Head of HR with experienced business partnering capability combined with a track record of developing and leading a HR Operations/SSC centre of expertise.  This will have ideally been gained within a professional services or financial services organisation operating internationally – if not globally.

In the first instance please forward your CV to us and if it looks to be a good fit, let’s arrange a mutually convenient time to talk.   Thanks for your interest.
